Carbon Interiors was appointed to carry out the full refurbishment of toilet facilities at a private university in the heart of London. The existing toilets were dated, tired, and no longer aligned with the high standards of the institution or the expectations of its students.

Scope of Works:

• Strip-out of existing male, female, and DDA-compliant toilet facilities
• Installation of new cubicles, sanitaryware, and modern fixtures
• Full plumbing upgrade and reconfiguration
• New flooring and hygienic wall finishes
• Energy-efficient LED lighting installation
• Decorative finishes featuring a modern black-and-white palette
• DDA-compliant fittings and layout improvements

The project was delivered while the building remained fully operational and open to students, requiring careful planning, clear communication, and strict health & safety measures. Our team worked closely with the university’s facilities team to phase works, minimise disruption, and ensure safe access at all times.
